Which villages are covered under LPS?

Phase 1 covers 29 villages including Thullur, Velagapudi, Mandadam, Rayapudi, Penumaka, Undavalli, Krishnayapalem, and others. Phase 2 (2025) is expanding to cover 87 villages with an additional 44,000 acres.

Who receives the monthly pension under LPS?

The Rs 5,000 monthly pension is provided to landless agricultural workers and laborers who were dependent on the pooled land for their livelihood, not to land owners. Land owners receive developed plots in exchange for their land.
